Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Victoria District, Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario, which includes the Masonic lodges of the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County. The District Deputy Grand Master is responsible for the site and its content.

Information we collect

This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and it has no accounts or logins. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it to us:

  • Email. When you email us, or use the subscribe or unsubscribe forms on the Communications page, your own email program sends us a message containing the details you entered (such as your name, email address, and lodge).

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to you and, if you ask to subscribe, to send you Victoria District communications. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone outside the District, except where needed to answer your enquiry (for example, forwarding a membership question to the appropriate lodge). You can unsubscribe at any time from the Communications page or by emailing webmaster@victoriadistrict.com.

Members' information and photographs

In keeping with Grand Lodge policy, we obtain permission before publishing any member's personal contact information. Photographs show members at public and fraternal events and never depict any part of Masonic ritual. If you appear on this site and would like a photo or detail changed or removed, email webmaster@victoriadistrict.com and we will take care of it promptly.

Third-party services

Some pages load content from other providers, which may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies: Google (fonts, calendars, and maps) and YouTube (embedded video). Links to Facebook and other outside sites are governed by those sites' policies once you follow them.
